2025 X3 Order Thread

I finally took delivery today.

Order placed on an individual configured M50 on October 28th
Car build started on November 14th
Due to Holiday season, vacation of my sales person and my own schedule being quite packed I got it today. Otherwise I would have gotten it 2 weeks earlier.

Quite fast taking into account I'm in Germany and shipping from the USA alone takes 3 weeks.

Ride is perfect and I'm completely happy with my color choice of Tanzanite Blue and the black Merino leather interior.

The automated line is often not accurate. Of course MyGarage and the App aren't updated in real time so it could be a case of it clearing QC this morning and they haven't updated yet. Hopefully it is.

at least you got a proddate. ordered mine 1/3, sitting on scheduled for production with no proddate. really hoping this moves along soon...

What is your production week? You will move to Production Begins about two weeks prior to that.

Easiest is to call Genius, although your CA has it also. Do not use the automated option, talk to a live person and ask them for your production week. Always best to call and talk to at least two people just to verify because they are bad at times.

No, the production week does not show and the production date is only available once the vehicle goes into 150. Prior to that you need to contact Genius or your CA for the production week.

Are you sure this car isn’t already at 150? My order showed ‘Scheduled for Production’ one business day after the order was placed and I was able to add the order number to my garage and pull my info. Might as well try it.

You can enter it into MyGarage as soon as you get an order number but you were not able to get your production date at that time. You had to wait until it went to 150 (Production Begins).

OP said in an earlier post his prodDate is blank.

I just checked my records and I stand corrected. Mine went to Production Begins one business day after my order was placed.

That makes more sense. The dealer altered a Priority 3 to meet your specs prior to it changing to 150.

Sweet spec, and the color combo is definitely gonna make you look twice!

Are those wheels only available in the European market?

I've just checked a USA BMW partsdealer and you can order them now. Bit pricey imho, but seem to be available in the US as well:

Whelp, my online status is still showing "Quality Control," however, the 844-443-6487 Genius automated system is saying, "Your BMW is on it's way to the dealership. Please contact your dealer for more information." My dealer says it should be here by tomorrow (Friday) or Saturday. Go figure!
