I don't think that's true in every case. Do you hear about it, yeah, because women take on a lot of mom duties and switch roles. However, there are still women with crazy libidos and the guy doesn't want it as often.

This is highly culture tied. I don't get to be anything else but me. The whole deal is for better and for worse for me, so I truly understand the real life isn't a honeymoon.

Without a doubt I can say the life we've seen in the last 12 years together has changed me. He has witnessed me losing my family and now I'm witnessing him losing his. It appears I might be losing my MIL which has been the only positive female influence in my adult life too.

That my dear is life. Whether he wants me or I him takes a backseat. Hell, if we'd file the papers today, would take the backseat.

It takes a lot to deal with me, and I've never hidden it from anyone.

Yes they do. Women see sex differently. I need it to feel like I'm still me. I need it to be me.

Without it I'd be only a mom, or a partner to handle the daily functions.

It's kind of a bummer that it happens, but like you said, it's life. I personally do not think I could deal with a sexless or lackluster sex life in a marriage.


One main key is to have that constant attraction, and a good fucking is a necessity, IMO. People get to intertwined with all the things that are going on, but I'll be damned if a session of a crazy fuck won't settle my nerves and bring me back to reality. Get into marriage life, that shouldn't change, because marriage is nothing but a piece of paper with autographs.

It is the bad times. The times the wife looks like a whale and and the times your family goes through changes. It is two people being together while all the rest around you changes. To me it is the horrible times and me and my husband have seen the worst of the worst.

If you take away sex and wanting each other, you see it as a friendship.

We have a disabled son together, we have my night terrors and his life.

Have you been married and experienced what you wrote? If so, and what you wrote is first hand experience, I'd say you married a woman who was not challenging enough or you failed to meet any of her challenges.

There are all kinds of ways a woman can be challenging. Could be that they want the house kept a way you're not used to, could be they want more from you in regards to house chores than you're used to, could be they want you to be in better shape than you're used to, could be that she wants you to be more romantic than you currently are. I could be a number of other things as well. But meeting what ever challenge it is all leads to the same place. It leads to emotional satisfaction which usually leads to intimacy.

There are some women out there who's panties literally get wet at the sight of their man doing things around the house in an effort to help them. There are others who will almost burst with sexual tension with a few dirty talk texts throughout the day. They all have something that does it for them outside of the traditional fore play. Finding and doing those go a long way to making a happy marriage.

Clearly there is more to a happy marriage, but finding someone who challenges you in some way (likewise you should be challenging to them as well) keeps you on your toes, keeps things interesting, keeps things fresh, keeps things hot, etc...
