We are trying Okeechobee Steakhouse in West Palm tonight. Odd we have never been there but we’ll fix that tonight. Anyone been there?

I lived in the WPB area for many, many years, but that was 20 years ago. I used to go there a lot. At that time it was excellent! Service was over the top and you ate free on your birthday. I used to go to another on Forest Hill Blvd called Beefeeders which was even better, but no clue of it exists still. Will do. I have high hopes for it and apparently they still do the birthday thing. The have a butcher shop now too, which is think is relatively new.

Was the Beefeeders in the old Wellington mall (Forest Hill almost to Southern)? I never tried it and know it’s closed now, which is too bad because if that was the one since it was about 10 minutes away.

It was a couple blocks west of Congress on the south side of Forest Hill. A big stand alone building at that time

Okeechobee Steakhouse was great. Decor could use some updating but food and service were both excellent.
