I don't know whether that is true or not but the OP is in the US so was responding to that.

Edit: Everything I can find shows that the M50 comes with the Adaptive M suspension in both UK and Germany. Where are you seeing that it does not?

Interesting because I went on the that site and it showed that Adaptive M was standard. Then again my German is rusty. For the UK though there was no option, it seemed to be standard.

Edit: Found it on the .DE site. What I was looking at was an offer. Thanks.

Same for UK configurations. It's optional for additional 625GBP :

Very good, thanks. That was my bad, I was looking at the packages and didn't go all the way down. I can't believe BMWM would create an M Performance model for any market and not put an Adaptive M suspension in it. I guess though some could argue that there is no need for it since in many instance they provide extra comfort which is not necessary.

Maybe someone can enlighten me?

Does the M performance seatbelts only come standard in the European market? I didn't see that as an option for a US build.

For whatever reason you can't get them in the US.

Thanks! I've never owned a BMW so researching.
In USA when you configure a x3 30 and choose the M sport design, the dynamic damper control option is only $550. If you choose the sport design the DDC is $1250.
I'm assuming the M sport suspension will be firmer even with the DDC added as compared to the standard suspension with DDC?
Also, did you guys notice Skyscraper grey color is not an option the M50 variant?

Picked mine up today. ID9 is not intuitive at all and will take a lot of getting used to 😂

But, night and day difference from my G01 and it’s not even close. I love everything about how this drives. Cabin is much quieter too and even the doors take a little more force to close. The interior doesn’t bother me at all either. The G01 looks a little classier but I’m not going to miss anything about it other than the physical buttons which makes life easier while driving.

Glad you like your new car. Your comments reflect my own feelings after nearly 2 months ownership.

I’m no spring chicken but I got used to iD9 quicker than I expected although it might depend on the number of features you use.

A combination of voice commands, shortcuts, muscle memory and use of the physical buttons did it for me.

That’s what I’m already finding actually. The more I use it the more I’ll figure out what features I like and the best way to customize it a bit

Hi There
I ordered my X3 30e PHEV December 6th. I don't have a VIN as that's not something they provide in Ireland for some reason so can't check status.
However, what would be an approximate lead time from South Africa. End April?

Thanks!

Usual delivery time for PHEV is between 7 and 9 month at the moment as the demand is quite high.

Checkout Autotrader Uk, there are loads of RHD G45 30e’s unsold at dealers.

Maybe Ireland or your dealer has a limited allocation, but doesn’t appear to short supply here judging by the number of unsold cars.

Delivery lead time will depend on local allocation, but shipping from leaving plant to local dealer takes around 3-4 weeks alone.

Usually it takes 5-6 weeks from SA depending on the time how long the car is parked at both ports.

And the discounts are a joke. You can get up to 18% in Germany quite easy even on cars in stock. Best Offer for private customers I have seen on 30e PHEV was 21% for a individual order. This was 6 week ago and only for a . But PHEV allocations are rare now and you have to wait up to 9 month now.

Hey all!

I ordered my G45 at the end of November, 2024. Here are some details:
  • Engine 30e (PHEV) - 2.0 petrol + electric
  • Black Sapphire
  • 19" Double Spoke Style 903
  • Heated steering wheel
  • Panorama roof
  • Sunblocking windows
  • Luxury dash
  • Innovation pack - Interior camera; driving assistant professional; parking assistant plus; BMW live cockpit professional
  • Comfort pack - Rear window blinds; active cooling on the front seats; heated front and rear seats
  • Premium pack - Lumbar support on the front seats; travel & comfort system; adaptive LED headlights; HK sound system

Unfortunately, my dealer does not want to give me a build week nor any build number or order number. Nothing. And it's now the mid of February.

They said that the car should be delivered a maximum of 6 months after the order was placed. 3 months passed (almost) and nothing, so I am

Can someone tell me if they can provide any information regarding my vehicle?

I, too, ordered at the same time in Ireland. My dealer provided the Chasis number in January (the VIN and Chasis are the same). My car was built on the 1st of February and is now in transit from SA. I am expecting delivery the 2nd week of April.
Pls ask your dealer for the chassis number then chat with the BMW.co.uk website for production status.
