i'm pretty much right where you are. i'm not really bought into the present-day time line...it's all over the place and drops different threads for long periods of time with no explanation.

i think the flashback timeline is definitely interesting and there's plenty of evolving character dynamics. they're obviously setting things up for something -- not trying to get too spoiler-y -- "supernatural". i'm invested enough at this point that i'd like to find out what that is.

It drags out the wilderness thing so bad, think about where they started and where they are near 2 seasons later and it's barely budged. Lots of tense music and nothing happens.

unfortunately, i think i've grown all-too-comfortable with drawn-out content. 95% of series today are at least 40% fluff.

but i gotta watch something, right? WTF am i gonna do...read a book?!?!

Ya, I'm w Al...it DRAAAAAAGS. You guys have more patience than me. I love a slow burn too, but try to make it somewhat interesting. Doesn't help that the chubbier actress' character is so unlikeable (she has a penchant of playing characters that are just nasty like in Last of Us), I couldn't take any more haha.

I wouldn't watch much TBH, I like a good movie but that'd be once per week. I watch TV friday night through sunday night to spend some time with the mrs but TBH i would grab the PS5 everytime if i had a choice.

We’ve started to watch The Diplomat and I have to say we love it.

Not your usual political fare, has great humour and a good watch.

Started watching Handmaid's Tale with the wife. Such a messed up society.

Great show so far, but so much of the show is a camera on Elizabeth Moss's face to capture her expressions you dont actually see much except her face, holding back anger/sorrow, and voice over.

Yes, for sure! It locked me in for the rest of the ride. They already announced a season 2!

The chemistry between Kate and Hal is hilarious! 🤣 The rest of the acting is really good too.

this was already on my watchlist, but now you guys have me really intrigued. i was not expecting a comedic aspect to this show. probably won't get to it this weekend, but may dive in starting monday night.
