Rashad said tonight in a interview he is done with Greg Jacksons camp and sounded angry with them. I wonder what the drama is with that. I know something was up these last couple weeks. hmmmm.

That's interesting. Dana mentioned in an interview that the camps were the ones putting the idea in the fighters heads that they shouldn't fight each other because one of them would have to leave camps and that would mean less money. I'm sure GJ's camp would choose Jones over Rashad though. |

Thanks. Been a fan of Jones since he came into the UFC...probably one of the few newer fighters worth watching IMO. I thought that might be the case but was hoping it wasn't Shogun coming in soft. I agree about your statement on Jones being tired at the end of the 1st. Shogun was clearly in trouble, but Jones didn't take the initiative to finish him.

Jones made Shogun look very bad. He out wrestled, struck, grappled, out everything Shogun. I hope he dismantles Rashad. I also hope that this opens the door to other fighters in camps together fighting each other.
I don't see anyone putting a stop to Jones anytime in the near future. If GSP beats Shields he get's his shot at Silva, then when Silva is done with him and Jones has held his belt for a bit and beat down the challengers they can fight each other. Let the guy have his glory for a bit in 205.

But Rogan was right in how far Jones has come in such a short time. The kid can do anything right now. Strikers, wrestlers, BJJ , freestyle, purse snatchers....doesnt matter. Jones has destroyed them all.
By the time Jones and Silva could possibly meet, I think Jones would put an end to Silva. |

Jon Jones is a bad ass phenom. Thought it was awesome that he stopped a robber before his fight.
http://sports.yahoo.com/mma/blog/cag...?urn=mma-wp309 Rashad will get beatdown by Bones Jones. I rather see Machida fight him because they're both unorthodox fighters. I still think Jones will beat Machida but I think it will be a better fight than Rashad. Last edited by choicez; 03-20-2011 at 08:36 PM.. |

I can't imagine how that effects GJG with both those guys fighting out of there. And being that they are sparring partners, its gonna be weird. Honestly, I'd rather see Jones kick the shat outta Anderson Silva.

Can't believe the judges decision on the Njokuani vs Barbosa fight.

Jon Jones is something else, he truly dominated Shogun. I didn't think he got tired at the end of the first, I think he didn't want to rush it cause he knew he was dominating. However, he was tired after the 2nd, Greg Jackson even made a comment about it.
No idea who can stop him, maybe Rashad knows some of his weaknesses since they have trained together for so long. I don't think Rashad stands a chance though, at the rate he is improving, he is gonna have to fight guys like Cain Valanquez just to keep it interesting. Jim Miller looked impressive again, hope he gets a tittle shot soon but such a stacked division. Glad to see Urijah in top form again, looks like 135 is a much better place for him |

Broke my heart to see that fight. I'm a HUGE Shogun fan and I was truly worried coming into this fight. Shogun looked like he was never in the fight. 3rd knee surgery, long layoff and facing Jones!!! Yikes!
That being said ... WOW! Not seeing anyone around at 205 that can stop Jones right now.... Rashad is going go get a worse beatdown than Shogun, I really don't blame him for looking sad when he was in the ring w/ Jones. Give Jim Miller a title shot! I'm so sick of Frankie Edgar and Clay Maynard - can't we just get this whole thing over with already...... 155 used to be AWESOME and it's a huge mess now. |

Good night of free fights! It worked out perfectly for me, I had some family over and started watching it about 40 minutes after it actually started. By the time the main event is on I'm through all the commercials.

My buddy Edwin from my gym fought in this card. I have no clue why he was swinging like Leonard Garcia but he got FOTN. He's going to throw a huge BBQ for the gym.
