Anyone watching the ultimate Fighter starting tomorrow? I really like this show since you get to see how the UFC fighters train and interact with others. Ive never liked Tito Ortiz until I saw the season that he was coaching against Ken Shamrock. I gained a lot more respect for him after seeing how well he coached his guys as opposed to Ken who just looked like he was there for a paycheck.
Im curious if Brock will change some people's opinions of him with this season. |

Last night, Brock seemed to do well with his guys. No real drama from his camp. Dos Santos does not seem intimidated by the situation at all. I am suprised that Brock did not pick the stronger wrestlers since that is his background.
However clips from upcoming episodes start to show Brock in his "truer" form? |

JDS was quoted saying Brock was a professional. I think a lot of his WWE stuff he exhibits is to sell fights. If you look at his personal life, he's a family man, just trains, hunts, and spends time with his family. He doesn't live in a big city, he's just a farm boy that drives a big truck. Nothing fancy.

He is a good entertainer, but he definitely has a dark side. If you ever saw the interview that ESPN did with him at his barn, it becomes obvious. I dont remember who it was, but he asked Brock about previous steroid use and it set him off.

Agree. Everyone has their issues though.

Brock def seems to lack a little experience in the "trainer" department... curious to see how this all pans out.

Its hard to tell from the first show because they have to cram so much into one hour. I am curious to see how hard his conditioning and training are. From what Ive seen from other stories about his training, it seems to be very intense.
Dos Santos cracks me up because he is always smiling and just happy. I dont think they could have cast two more opposite personalities |

Yeah I have heard he trains hard as well. I am just curious to see how he fairs as a train-er.
I want for Brock to come out on top at the end of 5 vs Junior, but I like them both. Junior hits so hard! If Cain put him away with strikes, I fear Junior will do the same. It is no secret Brock hates to be hit. He tends to just cover up instead of creating a gap between himself and his opponent, and this is just lack of experience. He is a large mass to try and move, you notice he seems a lot more trim now.... In UFC you have to enjoy being hit a little, and Brock hates it. So.... I guess as all other fights we will just have top wait and see.

JDS couldnt put away Roy Nelson, not sure if he can put away Brock also or if that fight was just a fluke. This fight will be very interesting, Cain did very well against Brock cause of his wrestling skills, JDS is good on the ground but not sure if he can get back to his feet as easy as Cain did. Brock does have a disadvantage on the feet though
this season looks like it might be good, although that first fight was a snooze fest |

those of you suffering from sleeping problems may have to find help elsewhere, seems like John Fitch got hurt and has pulled out of the fight against Penn
Anthony Johnson has said he would fight Penn if given the opportunity and Chael Sonnen and Bisping the next TUF coaches? Last edited by escobar929; 04-04-2011 at 01:18 PM.. |

I'll be pulling for JDS (how can you NOT like the guy?) but I don't know if he will be able to deal with Brock's wrestling. He better catch Brock early with some heavy hits if he wants to win.

It's easy to assume that If JDS hits Brock solid 3-5 times on the head.... things won't go well for big brock. I am curious how JDS's bjj is against Brock's wrestling tho.

If you come charging in like a freight train against a good striker you better expect to get blasted as I am sure he knows. Cain taught him at least that much. Brock needs to respect his opponent, respect their striking, and time his take-downs. Otherwise you are right, JDS will KO him. As far as BJJ goes, I think as soon as you get under Brock and he parks the car the fight just went really, really, really bad for you no matter who you are... JDS just cannot afford to get under Brock, even if he has some of the best BJJ in the world. Getting someone like that off you is almost impossible if you let them get set up.

yup, sure if gonna be a good card. Dana White has already said Diaz is the best fighter in the world, not fighting in the UFC and we all know how he feels about Daley
I think Diaz will finish him by the 2nd round but Daley always has a chance since he has so much power |
