One because my calorie deficit is coming from carbs, and two.....your body can actually break down protein and convert into energy if absolutely necessary. That's why I don't ever diet with low carbs. Gluconeogenesis is a one way street. It sucks that fatty acids can't be converted to glucose.

Also....I haven't been in the gym the last 3 days. We have had this "crud" going around at work and I have been dodging it for weeks.
Last Saturday I started feeling bad. Went to the Dr. yesterday and I officially have Bronchitis and an ear infection. First time I ever had an ear infection in my life. It hurts like hell. I rarely ever get sick. My Dr. told me that I need to take a couple of days off because I needed the rest cause he knew I would still go. I even had my boss tell me that I need to go home.....but I was like why be miserable at home when I can be miserable at work...and still stay caught up with everything. Plus I have next week off, so I can't afford to be out that long or I would be so far behind when I got back...it would suck big time!

Awesome back/bi workout this morning! This guy was annoying the ef out of me screaming and yelling during his workout. He knew he was being loud as you can see after he screamed like a bitch he'll look around the room to see who looking as he walks around with arms up like he's got huge lat syndrome. Talk about calling attention to themselves. Is that an ego thing or him just being a douche?

It has warmed up enough that I figured I could spend about 5 in jacuzzi just to get to the point that swimming would keep away the ice cream. Clean my goggles, squeeze into my speedo, head over to the gym
AND COUNTY HEALTH CLOSED IT DOWN AGAIN Fokkers keep coming out, strip to chones and just jump in all sweaty. Not even a courtesy spritz under the shower

Did some bench this am after couple hours of early morning mobility and relase work on lower legs. Guess I'm off legs until can sort few things further. Havent done any bench for ninth or more went nicely

Went to go do 3.6 before off to Dodger game Saturday. Got a little past 1/2 and had to call my son to pick me up. Couldn't run any more with what ended up being about a 2lb load.

Finally got back in a proper gym after 5 days travel. Back/tri day and it was great besides being hot as a sauna in there haha. Was basically just running this past week as I was trying to let my shoulder heal due to my dumbass injury the other weekend. Ran 30+ miles last week so that was solid, but my body didn't feel near as good as it does after a solid week in the gym. Might need to start doing interval sprints, I don't think just running alone taxes my body enough on its own.
Shoulder and biceps tomorrow, pumped to get in there! |
