Nope. Not sure where you are getting this info from but not all s65 eats rod bearings. I would suggest you do some more readings before making this statement. There are certain numbers of failures but it doesn't mean all of them will be affected. There is a member here bought 350k miles E92 M3 and it was still on its original bearings!

I saw his IG post and am looking forward to the video, the Maserati turned into a large paperweight with a beautiful exterior.

Donate it to the local fire department for vehicle fire training. Make that car suffer over and over again.

looks like BMW Spokane bought Sretens M5, the ring taxi. Curious what they will resell it for. I wish I had the room in the garage for it!

Awesome project, man it would be hard for me to part with that one if I was in his shoes. Nice tribute to Sabine too. E60 M5 is the best M5. #FACTS

I thought maybe he would send this one back on the boat and sell the other one. But maybe the salvage title is an issue there. That's unfortunate as it's a great car that had one bad day as he said. There's a clip on youtube of a black one with the Meistershaft exhaust and it's the best sound. The LFA is weak in comparison

What a great video and project! Certainly a great tribute to Sabine. Always loved her appearances on Top Gear back in the day. Very infectious laugh. 😊

I'm watching the new one, of course, and find how much I love that he often has trouble getting things apart or put back together. Screwdrivers used the wrong way, tools accidentally go flying, hits his head, leaves greasy fingerprints on the paint, stays up way too late because he just wants to get the job done... I'm not knocking him at all just saying it's awesome that this stuff happens to everyone, even the experts who could almost do the jobs blindfolded.
