It will be interesting to see if they abandon split level drls and main headlights when this design language hits the 7 and X7

A lot better than I expected. Looks like a similar design language to the iX in the rear minus the funkiness of the iX front.

That said, the front looks a bit “soft”. Seems though that BMW is going for a softer (rather than aggressive/sporty) look in their dedicated EV platforms (e.g. i3, iX).

How is any car not an “appliance” like a fridge? The whole, “EVs are just appliances” schtick is tired.

Edges of the front bumper cover in this render reminds me of the Cadillac Lyriq.

I want to dislike it, but I don’t. It’s cool.

I agree with an earlier post; if they make it, their current gen will look seriously outdated.

The design language is unique.

I must say I'm surprised. Not what I thought it would be. It looks smart and sporty and for an EV looks very sharp.

I'm SOOOO relieved that it doesn't look like a turd with wheels!

Hallelujah!!!

Praise the BMW gods!

No ix xm pig looks!

No massive hideous vertical grill!

I abandoned getting another M3 (g80) due to the horrific front end design. The hybrid X3M is what I'm now targeting. This ev ix3 gives me hope...

Please BMW don't screw it up!

Looks pretty cool! I would strongly consider getting one. Don’t understand the negativity around this - comparing with Korean manufacturers, have you seen their recent lineup? No thank you!!

Modern BMWs lack timeless design.. This one especially look too much like the Lincoln's old design (e.g. 2016 MKT)
Whenever I cross by E70 X5, E90, E30 3 series, etc I look back to see them again because how I'm amazed they look so great even after a decade or more has passed... (also impressed that they're being daily driven by someone all this time).
Really miss Chris Bangle now..
