Tires are the same Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4s PhantomOpera got. 265/40ZR21 front and 295/35ZR21 rear.

No rubbing, no issues whatsoever.
Why not 275/35 R21 and 255/45/21?

Didn't want to risk messing with xDrive so tried to keep the tire specs as close to standard (21") BMW specs as possible. You have to set the tire settings in iDrive after making changes. I just entered that I had the 21" OEM tires and that worked even though they're slightly less wide than what I put on.

Thanks for the clarification, I am waiting for an M50 and I was planning to mount PIRELLI PZERO WINTER 285/35 R21 105H XL  (*)  FR  3PMSF and 255/40/21, but you have discovered these Michelin all season tires and I am full of doubts.
