Honda needs to fire all the designers that ruined look since the 2009 Acura TL. I had a 2008 TL, it was actually good looking. All the new Hondas/Acuras are hideous, including the NSX. $150k car with plastic interior, really?
Lexus needs to fire their designers as well, the RC-F is the ugliest thing I've seen on the road. And have you seen the new Nissan Maxima? Gross. Subbies have always been ugly, so it's a given that's it's been getting uglier. What is wrong with these Jap designers... I loved Jap cars, pre-2009. Only Mazda is doing something right with the new Miata. Now they just have to bring turbo charged rotary back.

I think part of the problem was that the new NSX was designed by Americans in America. The original NSX was all Japanese and really represented a Japanese take on the supercar.

So if you already had the cars you wanted then you would get the NSX. Not sure what this means either.

Models and super models also aren't the same. Some 18 year old in a Walmart ad is a model.. He/she isn't making millions a year walking high fashion runways. That's not even a debate lol it's just how it is. Your failure to see the difference doesn't mean it's not there. And the last part of my post means the NSX wouldn't be the first "supercar" I buy. If I already had Ferraris, Porsches etc (cars I really want) I wouldn't mind adding the NSX because of its looks.

Well Chris Harris liked the NSX if that means anything....awarding the NSX 4.5 stars out of a possible 5.
“Traction is predictably impressive, but the mind games really begin when you switch all the clever traction control off and see what happens when you provoke the NSX… The search uncovers only good things. You can play with this car – allow the front to push, use that mid-engined layout to alter the line and rotate the rear. It’s not as easily playful as a 488 or an R8 because those pesky front motors always ultimately want to drag the car straight again. But it is way more fun than I’d imagined it would be and, most importantly, it demonstrates the depth of chassis development that has been undertaken to make this car worthy of the NSX badge.” – Chris Harris, evo Magazine http://acuraconnected.com/2015/12/01...017-acura-nsx/

$150k it's a steal, but not a single car will be sold at that price. How big a market adjustment will be added. 1st ZR-1 was $59,995 and sold for $120k. So is it worth $300k.....
Nope. |

Still not bad looking car, the journalist in the video seemed well biased right from the get go. Didn't the crowd complain about the previous NSX back then and look at its following now. As the auto world is moving towards fuel efficiency, this car might be on the right track going hybrid.

Great looking car but clearly a committee job.
As several posters mentioned earlier, the potential for greatness was here but there were too many cooks in the kitchen. It appears that everyone was listened to and a consensus was reached leading to an average result. Pass. Cheers-mk |

Wow.... The Brake Pedals are really there just for show... It's all "software" controlled with the computer providing the pedal pushback for sensation. That's pretty mind-bottling (see what I did there).
Well... The car is IMO, like it's neighboring brother, the mighty Godzilla aka GT-R, a "technical marvel". Only the GT-R manages to undercut this NSX severely in price! Albeit, the GT-R is not a 'hybrid' and it's kinda not attractive... at all. The NSX is low slung and 'exotic-looking'. Except for that hideous front-end! All in all... $200k??? Can't do it. I'm going R8 and even 911 Turbo S all day long.
