Considering you can reserve one now. I don't think there will be markups just MSRP.

Reservations are just for a spot in line, not for pricing. Dealers are already marking up Mach-E's, I imagine the Bronco is in similarly high demand and will receive the same treatment.

The Wrangler will finally have some proper competition, and I look forward to the comparison tests. The styling makes me think the previous gen Defender 90 and the JL Wrangler hooked up and had a baby.

Hats off to Ford, they nailed it on the modern interpretation of the Bronco.

It's just weird to me when people assume the default position is for dealers to add a markup. That's the exception and not the rule. Even C8 vettes as hot as they have been are being sold at MSRP. I think people hear horror stories and they like spreading the BS. This is prevalent in the Supra thread too.

I'm not saying every dealer in the country will be marking up, but it is not an uncommon tactic especially at Ford dealers. Like I said, some dealers currently have Mach-E's marked up even for reservation holders, so it wouldn't be surprising that those same dealers would mark up the Bronco. Even Kia dealers marked up the Telluride!

Exactly. And I did say at the very beginning.

This thing will do well. Never really been interested in Fords minus the GT350, but even I will admit this thing is cool (not even a fan of the Wrangler to be honest)

I've been burned by Ford before but I must admit if I was in the market for something like this the Bronco would be incredibly tempting. I would happily wait until the hype dies down and you can pick them up for employee pricing. I can't imagine ever paying MSRP on a Ford let alone admin pricing.

Ford dealerships are hands down, the worst to deal with with any remotely sought after vehicle they sell. I remember back in 2011-2012 when I was shopping for my Raptor. I must've emailed or called 2 dozen dealerships within a 200 mile radius of me. Everyone of them tried to screw me over. I had to buy my truck in Virginia. At the time, it was probably the best discount anyone I knew on the forums got. I still have it and love it, but this Bronco has me hooked like the Raptor did in 2010. I dread having to deal with Ford again for the Bronco.

I will echo many of you, when Ford dealers have something desirable they add markup. It seems particularly bad here in CA

I’ll wait for the first wave to die down...unless i can get an msrp deal sooner

So apparently I can get a manual transmission in a freaking Ford Bronco, but not a mid engined Corvette, a Toyota Supra, or an Alfa Romeo Giulia Quad?

WTF

I plan on getting a base 4door manual. Ford did a great job. The more info I see the better the Bronco gets.

I was disappointed about the 4cylinder, but Ranger owners’ get power-kits added that make that engine responsive and powerful.

BMW should take note how good design inspires desire without excuses. Nobody here is saying "it isn't that bad" (or worse) like the abomination that is the ugly 4 Series and upcoming M3. Although this truck is so wrong for me I'm trying to find an excuse to buy one! Conversely, an M3 would be ideal for me, but I'm just NOT spending that kind of money on a car that's so fucking ugly.

True.

It also seems like the American car companies are the only ones building stuff that is just fun that we can all have. (Obviously GT3s are fun, and so are Lambos)

It seems like no other companies are listening to the voice at the end of the table that says 'hey, I've got an idea'

You could argue that they are just digging into the parts bin, but they are making fun stuff! (Hellcating all the things, insane hp, now the Bronco)

BMW could make a true successor to the 2002, or E30, but they won't. They have the parts bin to dig around in.

Bravo Ford, you will have more of my money soon.

I'm a life long Jeep fan. I've always had a Grand Cherokee as a DD with a sports car as a toy. Never even thought of a Ford as something I would want. I mean, I liked the idea of the Raptor but that horrid interior, yuck. If you're going to build a vehicle at a premium price, it needs to look like one.

With all of that said, the Bronco looks GREAT! You can compare it to the Wrangler in looks but not it's off road prowess. I mean, you can certainly take the new Bronco off road, don't get me wrong. However, this is built more like a Baja runner. It has a IFS while the Wrangler has and will always have a Solid axle. I hate to say it, but this looks great! I'm going to check it out eventually.
