My First car was a 1979 Saab 99 GLE. Loved it.

i think the teens look at it all wrong, yeah im sure some people are bitter but to say its all because they couldnt have a bmw when there where such and such age is bs, my parents could have bought me whatever the hell i wanted, did they no they got me a used 98 two door ford pickup because they knew i would of killed myself in a new bimmer. But i sure appreciated the 6 other cars that i have bought myself since then and being 28 it helped me look at anything i bought with my own cash house, etc, in a whole new light.

How old are most people on this forum anyway? I just started this thing and kind of curious to know what the majority is.

just curious.... would this have mattered if it was just an 18 year old a-hole in a riced out honda? or is it just because it was 335 and you have a 325? from personal experience i find that a-holes comes in all sizes, shapes, and age.

At least buy a secondhand BMW before you buy a brand new top of the range model. People will react more normal on this.
I also ask myself how it's possible that students buy such expensive cars, which BMW's are. You must have a great job beside your study to pay for the car. When you earned your money in a legal way, I see no point in why not driving a expensive car when you're 18. |

18 year olds with 335i are not that bad. If my parents wanted to buy me a 335i when I was 18 I would let them. Would have been stupid of them.
What does piss me off for no reason other than jealousy are two kids that live near me. One is a teenage girl who drives an e60 m5 and another is a boy that drives a red ferrari 360. I think the boy paid for it with his own money but the girl probably did not (why would she pick an m5 if it was her own money?) |

shouldn't the better question be, "What can I be doing so that when MY kids turn 18 I'm able to do nice things for them AND teach them responsibility so they appreciate them?"
