Hey do you have to have your Bachelors before you go to Naval Officer School, or can you be close to done, like a year left?

Yes can begin to apply for OCS, Officer Candidate School as you are close to finishing. Upon completing your degree, you will go to Rhode Island for OCS.

Its best to start going over the checklist now since OCS selects candidates on a cycle.

Three tours to Iraq with 1/5.

Going to afghan in may with 1/3.

first mos was a 3381 (food service specialist) from 2001-2005 camp pendleton 1/5
2005-2009 was a bravo foxtrot (buddy f-er) Military popo at camp lejeune base
2009-present logistics/embark 0431 3rd mar regiment and now 1/3

did three tours to iraq with 1/5

2003 - initial push 1/5 was first one to cross border and pushed through baghdad (saddam's pallace) and went to tacrete sp? (saddam's home city)
2004 - fallujah and left right before phantom fury
2005 - ramadi

good times

Oh nevermind just saw that you were at good ole mateo with 3/5. I miss being with 5th marines i loved it there. Not sure if stuff changed since i was at mateo but i do miss being close to san clemente and southern california.

i miss lejeune.... i liked it there.. Hawaii is way to pricey.. Great place to visit just a crappy place to live.

God yeah, Hawaii is great for a week tops. 29 Palms sucks dick, I was a coyote there for 6 months...

I loved San Mateo, pretty cool place, good bars, not to many freak shows.

I was in Ramadi for all of my deployments.
