theoretically true, but the rate of change of the vehicle's acceleration at 110 mph is not that high (in comparison to at much lower velocities).
and regardless, that shrinks the time difference. 3.5 car (3 series) car lengths at 110 mph is .32 of a second. add some acceleration in there, and we are probably talking .29-.31 second difference, rough guess. point is a lot less than 1-1.5 seconds, and Steve was directionally correct, accurate enough for this discussion |

Enough with the lectures about safety... It was done in a safe place with absolutely no one in sight!!! It is certainly not something I do on a daily basis or condone for others. There is a time and a place for this sort of thing, and this happened to be one. I thank you all for your concern, but understand that I share the same sense of responsibility for public safety and ideals not to make us "bimmer drivers" look bad. I did absolutely nothing the other day but REPRESENT big time.

actually the srt8s cost about the same as ur bimmer
335i Coupe Base Retail Price (MSRP) $40,800 C SRT8 Base Retail Price (MSRP) $40,420 Yes ur right. His 325 is more expensive than a srt8. Go get ur facts straight. its about the same price as ur 335. and im not saying that the 335 sucks, just the 325, my boy has 325i fully loaded, i still think that car is what it is meant to be, the Cheapest Car of the bimmer brand |

In the US, the 328 and 335 are the low-end of the BMW brand, but you can see there are lots of lower models sold elsewhere. Also, you can see that the 325i is far from the "cheapest car" of the brand: 116i 118i 118d 120i 120d 130i 318i 318d 320i 320d 325i 325xi 325d 328i 328xi 330i 330xi 330d 330xd 335i 335xi 335d To be honest, you should give BMW a try. Detroit muscle is fun, I'm sure, but a BMW has a feel all its own -- whether it's a 325 or a 335, the driving feel is superb.

i find all these kill storys strange, as I posted a thread about a month back of how I ran a 335i man coupe with my 06 g35 coupe 6mt from a 20 roll and by 110 was still on his back bumper.
