Take screen shots of ebay page before Ian takes it down so you have a record.

Honda can't help you, they don't have anything to do with the honda dealer selling a used nissan.

Keep calling Ian and flood his VM with requests that he emails you.

Keep calling till he calls the cops. If he calls the cops, then you have him. Now you will have a record with Texas or Alaskan police.

Good luck xoulu! also you can record your voice conversation with him denying your deposit

Damn. For a negligible amount (in the grand scheme of things).
Should have told him that's what an auction Reserve Price is for.

you better have some type of documentation with ebay on how the dealership is refusing to accept your payment.

I did.

@10:46am When I first spoke to Ian he said he was sorry that the guy who put up the auction was out of town and didn't put a reserve. Yet their receptionist said he is refusing my call. Ian he said well the guy is out of town that's why. He then advised me that they will not sell the car because its the price is too low. He will not honor my ebay price because their guy didn't put a reserve and no one had access to the account. I asked him why was the auction up for 7 days and they were able to log on and answer questions and post pictures. He just said sorry he can't do it. I told him I was unhappy and he said it was a honest mistake as he never used eBay before. I told him I felt that this is BS because they took a risk to put up a auction at a NR and when the final price came to a price they didn't like they are making up stories. He kept yapping about he will not do anything unless I want the car for the price he is asking since it was a honest mistake and it wasn't him who made the mistake. I hung up on him. Filed complaints. Posted threads.

@1:33 I called to speak another manager other then Ian, after 10min of hold Ian picked up. I told him I'm going to give him the deposit for the car, he refused. I asked him to email me that in words, he said no he is done playing. He don't want to talk to me if I'm just going to keep bringing up the ebay price. He said he is willing to work out the price
for the car for 59k. I replied no and I told him I'll just report this. He laughed and said good luck as I will get no where.

That's all I got.

P.S.

Send them all an email asking them why they wont email you in writing so you have a record.
Do not do this. Once you threaten the legal recourse move, that's all you can do. If you called me and said that, I wouldn't say a word and only wait for your certified letter that you're suing me. From there, my attorney would handle. THis limits your options. If you're already at that point, then... whatever, your call.

Terrible advice, imho. Are you 17?

Make sure you understand your state's wiretapping laws before you do anything like this. I'd guess that if this state is a "2-party consent" state, you'd be screwed. Dealer will laugh at you while you're in jail.

Unless you're willing to spend $20k to make a point... I'd just walk. How many miles are the guys there gonna beat her for if you would actually get it?

YMMV

Ignore the assholes calling you a spammer when you've been a member here for years longer than them.

Cant offer advice to help you but wish you luck against what sounds like an unscroupulous dealer. Keep us updated.
