I think someone has to have some type of insurance statistics showing accident rates by race, sex, etc. I'm assuming when it comes down to it the differences by race will be negligible. Men all complain that women can't drive worth sh*t but men are a hell of a lot more expensive to insure so there goes that theory. Over in asia, the bigger the vehicle, the more you have the right of way. lol Also, pedestrians don't have the right of way there. It's reverse from the U.S. If you're walking across the street, you still have to watch out and be very cautious.

I don't really think asians are the worst drivers. I've seen worse. But i do understand why they drive like they do. Well at least the older generation who came from asia. And if you're in chinatown...forgetaboutit. Double parking, triple parking, backing up a whole block for a parking spot etc. It's a war zone!

Actually, it will be better if they drive like 16 year olds. Go to Beijing and Shanghai and you will have first hand experience on how they drive:

• Five (5) cars trying to share three (3) lanes, continously;
• Driving in opposite direction of one-way roads;
• Playing "chicken" with every other drivers, bicyclists, and people trying to use the same road.

Their culture of driving is not that different than cab drivers in NY. They will know when to "back-off" while they play this game of "chicken".

Living in Long Beach, CA, I have witness to the largest asian population outside of asia itself. Let me tell you, most of them are TERRIBLE drivers. That's not to say they all are, but I've found stereotypes to be more true than false.

That is also not to say that there aren't many other terrible drivers, because there definitely are. Women in SUVs and old people are definitely the worst of the worst, probably asians are second.

i was so pissed the other day when i ran into an old couple driving in the carpool lane @65mph.......wtf.....carpool lane = 80mph minimum!

highbeamed.....honked...honked.....but they wouldn't speed up....so i exited out of the carpool and honked like a mad man as i raced past them on the fast at 98mph.

I honestly find women to be bad drivers in general. Every time I see someone swerving on the road I usually think it's some sort of impatient guy (not girl) at first, whose just an aggressive driver going way past the speed limit and not exactly driving all that well. So I pull up to the driver, and (no longer anymore) to my surprise, it's always, ALWAYS a female of some age chattin' it up on the cell phone.

Teen girls are the worst. I saw this person tailing me on the highway in the left, so I speed up. I look in my rear view mirror, I see 'em right on my tail, swaying from side to side in that ol' Civic or whatever, so I just move to the right, slow down, and see ANOTHER girl blabbering away, practically not even looking at where she's going laughing at whatever it is she's talking about...it drives me INSANE!

lol, my ultimate stereotypical horrible driver would be a female asian teen on a cellphone...with haterblockers that prevent them from seeing ANYTHING. Yeah, I hate haterblockers for some reason.
