Filmed in MN... can you believe it? I have no problem with this thread staying alive, so long as it doesn't pertain to OP's topic.

It depends on my mood, the season, time of day, and the weather. However, I drank nothing but Blanche De Bruxelles for 2 months straight before my local spot stopped carrying it. I'm not usually a Belgian white kind of guy but holy shit this beer delivers.

If you like Belgian whites, be sure to try Hoegaarden, it's lighter and less sugary than Blanche de Bruxelles, with a cleaner after taste. If you can find a decent Kolsch, it's another great warm weather beer.

Yeah the fruity beers are great in the heat. DFH makes an Aprihop that I quite like.

I can't stand Hoegaarden. Like I said, I'm not normally a Belgian white guy at all. Belgian yeast tastes like bananas, cinnamon, and bubble gum. Blanche de Bruxelles is mainly just bananas and cinnamon, so good.

Always a good choice. If I drink too much my farts smell like actual dog shit the next day though. I don't know what's in that beer that does it, but my body is very consistent with it.

THE best every day beer IMO is Lagunitas IPA, never gets old. The other best beer is the "Pliney the elder" from the Russian River brewing company. Their "Pliney the Younger" was voted best beer in the world, it's only available 2 weeks of the year and people come from all over the world to get a taste.

We have Lagunitas over here but the Russian River stuff is impossible to find. I'd love to get my hands on a growler or 6.

I live a couple miles from the brewery. I could get a growler or 2 and send them to you if you like.

Yeah, a friend of mine in Seattle sends me Pliny the Elder fairly often, it's great stuff. I'd like to get up there for the Younger. I've had Westvleteren at the source, it's been named the best beer countless times, I'd love to see how PtY compares.

I do miss living in California though, BevMo especially. I also used to do some work in Rehobeth and hit up DFH frequently. Avery in Boulder is another fun place to drop in to, they're using primarily cans now and have better distribution which should really help them out.

There are so many that I like it is hard to answer this question. New Belgium Triple is at the top of the list. Sipping a Saint Arnold's Elissa IPA right now. Rouge Dead Guy is another favorite.

PM sent. I'd be happy to send you a couple growlers. Pliney the Elder is THE best beer ever IMO. STRONG too! 2 pints will put you DOWN.
