BMW forum owners don't like the a change?
That's a first! (NOT!) I never cared for the old sound, not that it really matters. Do we not have better things to discuss?

I like the old sound better.
Sometimes tradition is better than changing things up. Whats next a new BMW logo/emblem?

Reading some of the negative comments in this thread tells me people have not watched this clip (link below) at all. If they had then they would appreciate how much detail and research is behind the various components of the car including the safety aspects. Not only is quality number one the customers safety is right up there if not in front of the quality component of every BMW that leaves the assembly line.
One can really appreciate this if one has meet some of the designers and engineers and had a chance to actually make a factory tour. A comment like the ones below are totally uncalled for. "Wouldn't you think they have better things to do" "omg, they pay people for this stuff??" http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=KkX9pdEahos

I prefer the solid sound of the old one, the new one is tinny, more suitable for an econobox...
