It's not something I know I'll find. It's just one of things where you set a low bar and may get lucky one day. I figured that I'd have better luck finding a shell and building one from the ground up than getting a nice factory TT. |

Or you can get a 2000-2002 Audi B5 S4. They're beasts when you start modding them. Hope you're good with cars though cause they break down a lot.

If you've got 10 grand to spend then I imagine you don't have 5 grand to spend to keep it running (so this rules out Porsche / BMW).
Get an S2000, mx-5, civic, or some other semi-reliable sporty car |

Miata would make a GREAT track car, S2000, maybe a high mileage E46 325/330, old S4 Audi would be a good call. There are other cars that can be physically purchased for $10K, but I'm assuming that the purchaser wouldn't have the disposable income to cover $3K in repairs/mods every year.

It's no secret here that I am a big Cavalier fan. So with a 10k budget, you better believe I'm getting a Cavalier GTS type R with the racing stripes. I mean I could probably get the car for 5, so that leaves 5 for mods.

I think an S2000 would be a good choice if you can find one that hasn't been completely abused.

Supra would be my choice as it looks nice and should be ok with reliability (keep in mind it will be like 20 years old), although prices for these are not your friend, especially in very good shape. S2000 is a cool choice too, just make sure you can fit in comfort. Last maybe RX8 as these are in your price range, although probably least power from all other choices.
