Sad as hell for sure. Not only was The original Fast and the Furious a movie I would literally watch daily as a kid, but Paul Walker was a true enthusiast and someone who had a passion for cars. Beyond that he was a man with a family that will no longer have him in their lives.
Sadly ironic to pass away in the manner that he did at such an early age, I hope that he went out doing what he loved. RIPPW

Nobody asks??
How a modern car like that can be mangled that badly and on fire if they weren't doing at least 100+ mph on public roads. I say they are lucky they didn't kill anyone else. I did meet PW at the track a couple times and spoke with him = gracious, nice guy |

I was at that event. I have several friends that work for the car shop there and the charity event they were holding. Very sad news... I am still in disbelief. I knew the driver of that car well enough to call him a friend. His name was Roger and truly a great man! Roger and Paul were best of friends and both big time car enthusiasts. They both were HIGHLY experienced car drivers and always went to track events together for a long period of time. I can guarantee you that Paul had the upmost trust in Roger and his driving skills. Its a very unfortunate situation.
Roger was majority owner of AE Performance and Paul was a part owner together because they both had love and passion for cars. Sad day... Still can't believe I was with them both hanging out at that event before this all happened.

RIP PW and friend.
![]() A very sad loss. Even if it's our hobby nobody wants to go like that. ----- Those Carreras GT are not the easiest cars around. I remember another deadly crash on a closed track a few years ago. I recall lawsuits vs Porker or am I wrong? ![]() Cheers Robin |

Still hard to believe! I keep checking Google as if it'll be revealed that this was a hugely orchestrated hoax. This one strikes deep.......and makes me feel eerily similar to how I felt when Marco Simoncelli died. RIP!
