You are right, at 16 you don't "deserve" the car or any nice rims for it... If your parents bought you the nice car, you are a spoiled brat and probably will not learn to appreciate the effort it takes to get ahead in our culture.

That being said, you've already learned the most important lesson, "Life is not fair". No 16yo deserves a great car, but also no person deserves to starve or get cancer. That sh*t happens without "deserving it". Life just happens differently to every person.

Now go out and enjoy your great car and your blessed life. If you can get the rims, get them and appreciate all the good in your world.

Some day life may not be as great for you and at least you've had this time to enjoy it.

Save your guilt for masturbation.

i just dont get people. If bad things happen to them they complain "oh howcome nothing good ever happen to me?" or "i dont deserve this". Then when good things happen they think they dont deserve them. Usually you deserve the good things and dont deserve the bad, not both! Something is probably happening in his life that's caused him feeling down so he thinks he doesnt deserve it. ..

Lastly, a BS/BA is worth almost nothing today unless you're prodigal. Otherwise, I'd highly suggest specializing for a PhD.
Yes....I am part of the 14.6% while growing up in the ghetto hood of Long Beach, Cal....food stamps were common. One brother, 5 sisters....living in Section 8 housing project. I'll admit....my family was poor.......and the state and federal goverments pretty much help pay for our college education....plus scholarships too. Out of the 7 seven siblings.....6 graduate college.....and the one that didn't - has more money than all six of us put together. Go figure!

I agree. All dead people should be allowed to vote.

Second, Arnold has done nothing but make stupid and poor decisions for our state. Fortunately he has sealed his fate for a second term not happening for him because of the numerous stupid decisions, specifically regarding our education system, not to mention the stupid ballot intiatives that were all turned down. Spare us the online Republican convention, or w/e device you've created in your posts.
w/e device? Please advise. I only say I like what Arnold is doing because it seems like a slightly less screwed up state than before he took office. Maybe you deserve to get Grey Davis back.

I'll encur a higher electricity bill gladly instead of increased tuition fees.

Not worthy of a reply, but I will. Most on that "voter purge list" were fellons. At least they didn't "vote the dead" like they did during the JFK election. Give me a break. There have been tons of independent investigations into the 2000 election and they turned up zero, zilch, nada. If anything the opposing party was trying to keep overseas ballots from our military coming through as they vote primarily republican. That's a fact. If you really do your research you will find that the early call for Al Gore by the news networks lead those in the pan handle to not bother voting. Those in the pan handle are overwhelmingly republican and would have voted Bush. It's almost 2006 - get over it. He won the electoral college and he won Florida by the smallest of margins. He lost the popular vote - doesn't matter. So it goes. I personally thank God that he is in office rather than Gore - worse yet Senator Kerry. Have we had another attack on US soil since 9-11? No - we took the fight to their turf - enough said.

"Moronic"? it's the truth, something you and your kind can't handle Lastly, taking cheap shots is for the arrogant and cowardly.
I'm proud of my Volvo, may be no BM, but for now it works just great, thanks for the inquiry!

Your best bet is to save your cash and don't get the rims. The money could be used so much better for college. When I got chrome 18" rims and and Pirelli summer sport tires that cost well over $3000.00, it was cool for the time...but now I'm like, what was I thinking???

That three grand could have went toward tuition, an apartment for one year (split four ways with my roommates) or even toward my E90 now that I've graduated from college.

And even if your parents are paying for college for you, save the money anyway...

Imagine the parties you could throw in college with $3000 worth of rum, gin, vodka, and beer!

There may be such a correlation, (I would like to see a more specific explanation) but is there causation? Seems to me many of the personal characteristics that help one accumulate wealth also lead to success in school. Those students that have parents who are smart, hard workers, resourceful etc are more likely to have wealth, more likely to be smart, resourceful, etc and thus more likely to be successful at their studies.

Not to say that is always the case or that wealth does not help, just that I think your correlation may be misleading. Something about lies d*mn lies and statistics...
