About a year and a half. No crash diets or anything like that...you'll be surprised at how much weight you lose by cutting out refined sugar from your diet.

Ok...I'll play too.
Been eating like shit all week long, but aside from feeling yucky, my weight doesn't fluctuate much and has always been around 170-173. I'm less concerned about weight and more about my cardio and grip strength, which is easy enough to maintain, with a grip trainer in the car and an occasional night run. |

The last time he truly pissed me off we had nothing that didn't have those in it for two weeks, before that we only ate seafood for a week because his sister moved in with us for the summer (he was really allergic to fish as a kid so he still can't enjoy eating it), and then there is the usual ketchup revenge. Instead of making food, I basically bury everything in his plate with that vile stuff. I totally admit being ridiculous and vindictive bitch.

You need to pay attention. I mentioned before that I don't lift or do legs or arms or any gym rat stuff. My body type is/was tall and lanky/normal. I'm not bulky or muscular, but pretty toned, especially the arms and shoulders, which I want/need. Running is something my kids and I have always done and I maintain.

Like you i'm not starving myself or even really cutting anything out except the excess. Logging my food and seeing how many calories are in what i was eating really helped me cut out what wasn't needed and prioritize my calories. Helps me make better eating decisions as well. if i know i'm making pizza tonight, i can enter my pizza meal into the app and i'll know exactly what i can have without going over my calorie goal. Or if i want something for lunch or a snack that will put me over my calorie goal, i'll leave work a little early and exercise enough to net out those extra calories. It was an eye opener to realize that i was averaging about 3200 calories a day. And that was without any exercise. Knowing that, i'm amazed at how my body handled it. Feels so much better getting back in shape.
