I have relatives who live in Lucerne. We hiked up to the mid-mountain station and then took the gondola to the summit. Spectacular day!

Sorry you had cloud cover. That happened to me when we took the cog-wheel train to Jungfrau. Still worth it! Switzerland is beautiful!

Indeed, a most spectacular country. Luckily we have been there before a few times and it was sunny but this trip was in winter.

We’re going back in September and spending a week or so in Grindelwald.

We were in Grindelwald as part of the same trip that took us to Mt. Pilatus. If you've not done it before, consider going to Kleine Scheidegg during your stay. Easy train ride. From there, we took the cog-wheel train (expensive but worth it) up into the mountain. What a trip. We also hiked from Kleine Scheidegg down to Wengen and then took the train back up to Kleine Scheidegg and then back to the hotel in Grindelwald.

Have a great trip.

Thanks mate, been there a couple times as well.

We’re going there specifically to go to First and do the “adventure” things. We’ll be away for about six weeks so should be a blast.

Yes, been there a few times.
Good food and relaxed atmosphere.
Don't know what's worth seeing since it was business trips and most time was spend at conventions.

I had just read the name on the blue and green sign in the photo and attempted to reply when the whole M3Post Forums crashed.. It was as if the word "Trentino" was a back door bug.. Coincidence? I guess so.
