Great landscape shot Dmitriy, love the blue of the distant mountains.

Great shot of your snowy egrets Dave. The light really does accentuate the wing feathers.

Lots of other great shots on here lately too.

Wow, great shots indeed. Getting tough to keep up here.

From this morning at Whiteside Garden.

:-)

The end of the day at Huntington Beach. Ran outside from dinner and did a quick snap of the sunset under the pier. I like the seagull in it also.

Great shots on here today !
Mark I prefer your 2nd butterfly shot, the detail is superb.
Ed, your B&W landscape is beautiful - almost Ansel Adams in tone.
Kevin, a great sunset shot - but - seagulls ! you like seagulls !
Round here they're a bit of a pest, known locally as sh*te hawks
I tend to make sure my car is in the garage when I'm not using it.

Don't get me wrong Alan, I only like it for the artistic add that it puts into the blank sky. The only thing I dislike more as a bird than the gulls are pigeons.

Nice shot, I saw your location was set to SF Bay area, when I saw this shot my first thought was, "this is exactly what HB looks like!". haha, then realized it was HB.

Kevin's great shot and the thread made me think of a time, sitting in a California restaurant (in Laguna Nigel), saying to my wife, "You pay the bill, I gotta go..." and shooting this, just outside:

Nice clouds in that Dave. LN is a nice place, kind of crowded though.

Another wall-hanger. Great, dramatic sky.

Yep, my thoughts exactly, a great panoramic shot.
Dmitriy.
I've just had a pack of panoramic paper delivered today, so I'm going to start and print a few panos.

Today was a beautiful summers day, and we haven't had too many of those here this year.
We took a walk from home, along the Moray Coastal Trail to the next village, Hopeman and back. It's about 5 miles each way, half along the clifftop paths and half along our West Beach.
This shot was taken as we approached an old coastguard lookout tower, and although it's no longer in use, it's kept in good condition. There's also a handy bench just in front of the tower which makes a great place to stop and have a drink.

Across the other side of The Moray Firth, you can see the mountains of Easter Ross and Sutherland, about 30 miles away.

You print your owns panos! Now that's dedication and a glutton for punishment.

Luckily, I've got a great professional printer that does it for way less than I can buy and maintain the equipment.

.
Beautiful light and composition. Do you use a polarizing filter?

Thanks Dave, no filter, just taken on the little G1X.

Here's another from this afternoon, on our way back home.
Again taken on the G1X.
