I was going to run and play basketball yesterday on my day off, but I got a call from my daughter's school that she was running fever and throwing up.

so I drove to the school looking like a bum in shorts and t-shirt HAHA !!!!

took her to the clinic - she had strep

I had a whole medium pepperoni pizza from home slice today (~3000? 4000 calories?)

However, as of yesterday I've started a hybrid exercise regimen that includes essentially P90x and insanity (at the same time). As far as diet, I'm doing the "eat whatever you want" diet. I'm really interested to see if I see any meaningful progress 4, 5, 6 months down the road eating whatever I want, provided that I exercise.

The last time I did p90x I followed the diet closely (which is basically chicken breasts and broccoli morning, noon, and night with a small portion of carbohydrates) and I lost significant weight in a couple of months.

as long as you maintain a calorie deficit, you should be able to lose weight. i dont think itll work if you keep eating 3000-4000 calories lol

Yeah yeah I know One more thing I forgot to mention is that I skipped breakfast and dinner yesterday (Saturday), and today (Sunday) I only had the pepperoni pizza as a single meal at around 4 PM. Terrible, I know.

Never tried it. I will definitely try it out!

For pizza I've tried homeslice, tony C's, Roppollo's (on 6th), Yaghi's new york pizza, and one more near the intersection of 2244 (Bee Caves) and I think 71 that I'm forgetting.

Yaghi's is drenched in oil and grease and it's super thin and doughy. I know some people hate it when pizza is too greasy, but I love this style. Tony's is alright but the prices are extremely inflated in my opinion. It's actually borderline ridiculous. The last time I went to Tony C's they forced a "2 for 1" special on me. I can't stand it when businesses do this. They're not doing me a favor. All they're really saying is "I'm going to make you buy one pizza at double the cost and then give you a second pizza for free, so really you're just paying for two pizzas at regular price." That really turned me off the last time I went so I haven't been to Tony C's in a while.

There are a bunch of pizza places that I still need to try in Austin!

I'm just getting over food poisoning.

Never had it before. Couldn't even look at food (or really even think about it) whilst I was in the grip of it.

Now I'm hungry. Random story, I know. But God, food poisoning is awful.
