Well, I am going to a "butcher party" at my Cousin's house in the next few weeks and will have a full pig after that, and we have a reoccurring locker appointment in August of each year at which time I will be getting another 1/4 cow.

Retired a pair of the Palladiums last weekend. Had them for 3 years and they still looked new, but the oldest son needed some boots and took a shine to them, plus I was over the folding down sides and tongue. Retire a pair, buy a pair. These come in white also, I may end up with a pair of white boots as odd as that sounds. Blasphemy in my opinion to own a pair of solid white (and clean) boots, but they are pretty bad ass.

Drove to Orlando on Saturday to pick up a new Volvo XC60 T6 Inscription for my wife. Traded in 2012 Q5, leased the Volvo. Hasn’t stopped raining enough to clean it up and take some good pictures.

Nice interior. They have some kind of performance option I think you can add even after purchase. basically a different tuning I think.

Yeah interior is really nice. I hate touchscreens but I won’t be the one driving it every day. The screen itself is really nice, especially Waze via Car Play, but irritating to me to go through menus while driving. She’s really happy with it. Tried to get an X3 but couldn’t match the Volvo pricing + it was available now vs. ordering.

We got the T6, which is the 4 cyl turbo + supercharged. 316 HP / 295 TQ. Compared to 211 HP / 258 TQ in the Q5 its a major upgrade and also smoother power. More than adequate for her daily driving and should make me happier when we drive to Asheville.

I had an XC60 as a rental recently and drove it for a few days. Definitely one of the nicest SUVs I've driven in a while.
