I really wanted to like the Bronco sport but couldn’t get over the three cylinder engine offered in all models except the Badlands. My X1 picture will be up as soon as I get it.

Out of the 7 other Fords I've owned, all manuals, the Bronco is the first one that actually had an RPM meter, so I take what I can get.

I'm not sure what Ford was thinking with the Bronco's gauge cluster design; maybe a 1960's design element for the body and a 1980's design element for the gauges(?). Digital speedometer and tach but with an analog sweeping-needle speedometer included. My only thought is the analog speedo doesn't washout in the sunlight when the top is off. 2025 Broncos have simulated analog gauges now. I'm hoping it will be a plug & play swap for the pre-2025 models to get the new cluster.

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

Another Aston club drive day. I won most paranoid fear of destroying a carbon fibre front splitter. Nice to see DB4 and DB12. Only 66 years separates those models.

The new DB12s are gorgeous.

Currently waiting for the roof on my V8VR to get fixed (hydraulics leaked, pump failed, whole ordeal), but hoping to do a road trip up to Sydney in it sometime in the next few months, be cool to coordinate with a meetup 😃
