I agree...however, bit of a double standard, because when I see a hot chick looking in my general vicinity (whoring for attention), I somehow get stronger and put up new 1 rep maxes like its nothing

There’s an amputee chick with no left arm at my 24 hr fitness. Yet she’s probably the most fit/hottest chick I’ve seen in this gym lol. Of course she’s fully decked out in matching expensive leggings/shoes/bra, but homegirl is doing one armed pull-ups, OHP, squats and all. Pretty inspiring actually lol

Today, an annoying ego lifter decided to set up shop next to me- and embarrassed himself infront of his girl.
Mind you- today was shoulders/bis/tris- so I was warming up with pyramids (dumb bell shoulder press) to top set of 6 (usually 50s, 65s, 80s, 95s, 115s) and this dude shows up while I'm hitting the 65s and he goes 70. I ignored it at first- then i went to 80s and he went to 85s with TERRIBLE form- and I was like "let's put jr to bed" Skipped the 95s, straight to the 115s. Homeboy left with his tail between his legs and his girl was wet after seeing a real lifter.

The other day with all the new resolutioners- had a galore of chumps curling in the squat rack- so I had to use the smith machine for squats. Anybody else feel like smith machines should be renamed to pussy squats? 315 felt like 135 : Just me- or does it make everything feel way lighter. First timer on the smith machine. Usually hit the real squat rack for skwatz
