it's still early July....

August and September will be here before we know it

nothing worse than triple digits and mid 50% humidity.....

I essentially shut down all outdoor activities from July to October....

What drove me nuts was that Houston folks would go out at night to a restaurant and then sit outside in the heat to eat. I don't care if it's a nice deck over the river, it's freaking hot as a jungle out there. I'd sit there with sweat pouring off my face trying to look like I was enjoying myself and wishing I was inside with the a/c.

Smelliness is not a title vii thing, sure they can do something. Follow the co. Code, be clean, or be fired. You think if someone came to work with leaking Depends undergarments, they would say, "There's nothing else we can do."

Had to drop my other car off at a foreign car specialist today. This place works on all kinds of modded stuff and it's in the city.

This dude in an Audi RS6 backs into a parked car, a guy gets out, and an argument ensues. They were a customer and now the owner comes out and the three of them are talking, and I was trying to get my car handed over promptly at 8 so I could get home and jump on a conference call. I must have wasted another 20 min. because of the argument (couldn't write-up my car), and time is money!

Im not getting induced until tomorrow night! I still have a full 24 hrs of me time before I give birth Friday morning. lol and yes you can get dolled up. Most women dont, but I want to look pretty I had my hair done at the salon yesterday and just bought all new make up last week. If my family insists on taking pictures, I have to look decent! Plus me without makeup, you dont wanna see lol.

Hey Good luck!! I thought you already had a baby....

After I saw the process, I gained a newfound respect for women. It's pretty doubtful that we men could go through the process, even if it were biologically possible.

Here's a stupid tip that my wife got....have something to eat before you go to the hospital...once you get there, you can't eat anything and it could be 24-48 hrs......we want pics when the baby is born!

Thats what my Dr told me at my appointment Monday. She said eat a good meal because once I check in tomorrow night, no food at all. My jaw dropped. I get hungry every few hours! How am I supposed to be pleasant if I'm starving lol. Hopefully the pain (since my birth plan is a natural birth. No epidural) will distract me enough to where I wont be hungry.

And so long as my hair looks decent during the delivery I'll post pictures once I get back home from the hospital. Wish me luck tomorrow guys!

Talk about first world problems. Sara seems most worried about her hair and hunger in the whole delivery process.

You'll be amazed when you come home, tired, but your world will be changed!

I just love how we men can kind of look at things objectively and give advice and encouragement, when we know fully that we'd never be able to do it ourselves (outside of biology)! Really, that's all we're there for!

But my neighbor said back in his day the men had to wait outside, they were not allowed to be inside with the mom, which is interesting...

We have pics of our son as soon as he came out and was placed in the warmer, well once the nurses cleaned him up, he's like a human doll, and unbelievable how much he's changed in 7 mos., already standing up and got his first haircut last weekend...

Best of luck again! You'll be fine!

Lol, tell me that after you give birth tomorrow. Kinda hard to look nice when you shit yourself. I wish you all the best but seriously, I don't think you know what you're getting yourself into when you're delivering.

Not everyone poops during delivery! But that is a fear of mine lol. I figure its one day of pain and as soon as she's out, the pain is over or at least eases up significantly. If my horse can do it three times well I can do it once!
