Nearly impossible shot, catching the grey ghost in great light. Love the wing position and glance toward you.

Dinner looks awesome, Ed. My doctor would shoot me if he caught me indulging in that.
Love the sunset pic. We're just getting into 3 days of steady, heavy rain. Better than snow, though.

Looking like a clear cool week here. We've had a good start with rain, but still need a LOT more. |

Santa brought me a new lens for my Fuji; a 35mm f2 prime. Carl saw me with the camera and tried to hide under the chair, but he still ended up being my first test subject with the new glass.

Nice and sharp with great color. The Fuji is a great little camera.

I've been trying to organize all the pictures from my September Mediterranean vacation. (I'm going to make a vanity book).
I'm not sure why, but I lean toward nautical images. I've taken something close to this shot on many voyages over the years, but I got the closest to my vision with this one: Officer On Bridge At Sunset by David Stephens, on Flickr View full-screen if you can. The Canon 5DsR produces a stunning file.

Oh wow! Great shot Ed.
Do people really fish like that? If he catches something, does he drag up the rocks or climb down nearer to the water?

Holy cow, Ed. You're hitting some serious home runs here lately. Well done.
DC, we're going on a short cruise in April. I'll be hitting you up for gear advice when the time comes.

I find that my travel pictures and landscapes are the ones that I want to blow up to 50". Now that I've got the 5DsR, I may try a 72" print soon. The 5D3 and the 6D are great bodies for making large prints also. Ed's taking some beautiful pix with his Fuji. A full-frame mirrorless would be temping as a specialized travel kit. Still, I'd need a additional new set of lenses. Oh, I take it back, I found a batch of 20 pix taken with the 70-200mm, when I was on a small boat just offshore.
