Here's my friend, Ken Parker, being honored by the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. He's holding "The Tree", his latest archtop guitar, built for the Museum's Musical Instrument collection.

Ken was honored as a top luthier of the 21st century. His innovative archtops stood the staid world of archtop guitars on its ear. The Tree is made of mahogany from a tree felled 55 years ago and reputed to have the most beautiful mahogany ever harvested.

Yeah pheasants are tough. Every time I see one, they skedaddle into the grass before I can get the viewfinder to my eye.

We had a great snow here yesterday, dry and powdery, so I went out to shoot again and not a thing with fur or feathers was moving, so I shot Cherry Creek and did a B&W conversion. This is an simulation of Ilford.

Ed, love the harrier/kite shot. The long wings of the harrier add drama. The harriers really pick a lot of fights around here also, with the red-tail hawks.
