I'm not sure about memberships but we used to board at Otsego Club a lot back in the day (rents paid for it though), then Treetops has some nice slopes as well. Lots of snowmobile rentals so you just ride the snowmobile the whole time and leave the cars parked.

Check it out if you get a chance to take a trip up there, definitely worth it.

That'd be priceless. A kick flip was the only thing I ever got down, once I did, I just did kick flips around town for a while, then I realized that's all I could aspire to and picked up cars since my feet didn't need to leave the ground.

Yeah, someone actually spray painted "Joe's Skatepark Inc" on one of the ramps facing the street.

We'd spend all our money on lumber to build ramps. When i was 15 years old and my parents were out of town, I took their mini van one night with some friends to this construction site where we saw some plywood and 2x4s during our travels earlier that day. We're there loading as much lumber as we can when i notice a police car driving down the street towards the job site. So we start throwing the wood out of the van at a furious pace making a big mess in the process. The police car rolled up, shined their light on us and we stopped. Then they say over the PA... "You can't dump that here, load it back up and take to the Linebaugh Ave solid waste dump tomorrow." We all look at each other and start loading it back up. They watched us load all of the mess we made up in the van, and as we drove off so did they. lol

Being young was a lot of fun!

I've been doing a lot of bike riding these days. I just hope my fancy seat does a good job. Don't want to lose my.... mojo, if you know what i mean.

That got me curious about snowmobile laws in Michigan, turns out it's completely legal to ride on the roads here. I'm now getting (bad) ideas about riding to work in the early morning on one.

Yup, we used to ride ours to work during the heavy snow storms that would shut down 696 and 94. Up in Gaylord there is more snowmobile parking than there are cars and trucks, pretty awesome.

A few of my buddies went for rips down 696 last year even though you're technically not supposed to go on the interstates if I'm not mistaken.
