Thanks Alan. It sports a twin turbo 2.7L V-6, which seems tiny for a truck, but it puts out 325hp, and 375 lb-ft of torque, which is considerably more than my old 4.6L V-8 did in my last F150, and can propel this 4,800 lb. beast to 60 in 5.7 seconds.

Wow. You'd leave my C300 in the dust. Impressive.

Out here in the cornfields we're at $1.50/gallon for regular and just over $2/gallon for premium. Rumor has it that some states are or will soon be seeing sub-$1/gallon prices. While it's cool to tank up for $20, the subsequent tanking of the energy sector is killing my retirement accounts. I'm saving a little in the short term and losing a bunch in the long term.

Still around 2.50 in California. We usually have the most expensive gas in the country, minus outliers like Hawaii. Truck has a 36 gallon tank, so when gas DOES go back to 3.50-4.00, it could be painful

Well I broke the cardinal rule and spoke of our low gas prices, so of course they jumped 26 cents today. Regular is now at $1.79/gal. Still quite low, but a big jump from morning to afternoon.

Over here we're paying quite a bit less than for a few years, but still way, way more than you. diesel and unleaded petrol are both around £1 per litre or 4.50GBP per gallon. I reckon that's around 6.23USD ! ! !

Great Blue Heron Flies In by David Stephens, on Flickr
Clipped a wing slightly. I was shooting ducks and other small birds with 700mm when this big guy came flying in.

I actually looked at getting a Raptor before going with the Audi...just couldn't justify a lightly used 60K+ truck when I could have picked up an M4 for similar prices. Would have helped me in getting to my job sites...but, that's what the Jeep is for. Needless...that new Raptor coming out is sharp (as is yours)!

Orion at Dusk
One from this evening.
We had a beautiful clear early evening here, so I went up to the lighthouse to get a shot of Orion at dusk. Orion at Dusk by Alan Butterfield, on Flickr

The eagle actually missed on this pass, but I like the talons-out pose.
Untitled by David Stephens, on Flickr A bit OOF, so I didn't post it on Flickr.

Beauty, Alan.
Killer "pose" for the eagle, DC. Damn shame it's a tad OOF. I'm still envious. When the local eagles fish, they seem to want privacy and do it waaaaay out of range.
