In all seriousness, I'm really old school (or just old), I like paying for dinner...especially if the girl goes through all the trouble to get done up.

I've had dates (with my wife) where I've paid for everything including sending a car for her to pick her up and I'd meet her at the venue. Just like a real date.

I feel like I mainly just have a problem paying for dinner once/if I find out the bitch is a snob. Call me cheap if you wish, but the principle of wasting my money (on top of my time) for someone who was less than desirable as company is a horrible, horrible thing.


Of course, there are worse things, such as 3rd world poverty, AIDS, rape, etc.

Why would you go out with someone you identified as horrible company? Once I was on a date that was a different person than prior to the date. Needless to say, I left her at the club and went home. She turned out exactly as I thought and was banging on my front door late night. Handed her her leftover salad and closed door. So many have a great exterior.
