Except for the E36/8, especially one with the S54 and 3.77 from an S52 car.

Plus TC Kline and Performance friction pads all around.

And Randy's subframe reinforcements plus some decent urethane bushings.

Oh nice. I love 993s (who doesn't?). However, I think I agree with you. My friend has a 993 C2 and we swapped that and my S2k (he ironically also has an S2k) on some twisty roads. Very different cars for sure, with different strengths (993 steering vs. S2k, no comparison!), but I can't say I was upset getting back into my S2k. Just a focused, direct experience.

It's a wonderful car my friend, enjoy in good health. If I could find my Halo S2000 (to me), I would swoop it up in a hearbeat and ask for forgiveness, later. 2003 Ap1 GPW/Tan less than 15,000 miles. With the PRM intake I had, and the Mugen exhaust - the thing sounded so nice at WOT. Great memories in a wonderful machine.

OMG PRM intake? I had one. For shits I took it apart - the inverted cone with the rubber ball on the end was so tiny! What a throwback!

How funny; I did the same and replaced the stock filter with a larger one. I felt like the small one was constricting air flow. Good times!

Has no one mentioned a 987 Boxster? You can get one in that price range. Great n/a revving engine in a modern platform.

How about a c4 vette with LT1 engine. I loved mine and they're cheap as heck. Minor mods and they'll outperform an e92 m3. I had 450 hp, 450 tq, z06 brakes, and coilovers are available.
