I work full time designing swimming pools, and a side job doing shop drawings for commercial glass companies.

At one point I did have a full time job and 3 side jobs but that kicked my ass hardcore. Money was flowing buy family was suffering.

I do have a hobby of wood working that I do also that I make a little money on the side as well but don't really consider that a side job (though IRS does technically

)

I'm a busy body by nature.

I was there from 2007 to 2009 and loved it. I do manage to get back there once a year or so to visit friends and former direct reports.

I'm kinda loving the flat I bought and I'm now working on. By far it will be the biggest transformation possible in a flat that tiny. Since I haven't worked in this for a while, this is my practice run.

I'm definitely interested. I have a home that will be vacated near the end of this year that will need a complete reno and I'd like to go with something unique because of its location.

I know what you mean about the dry run. I added 1200 sq ft to a home I lived in about 12 years ago as a dry run to build my masterpiece. I quickly discovered that I don't have the patience to deal with sub-contractors and wisely disabused myself of that notion.

I did all of the design and drafting including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and all structural engineering calculations. I really enjoy doing this kind of work wish I could do it more often. Keep us posted with your progress!
