Interesting...
I might have to drive the C63. I never thought i would even be remotely interested in a Mercedes. My biggest concern about the car is that Mercedes seems to get old looking really quickly when a new model comes out. And it always seems like they are coming out with a new model/update/refesh. |

He was being facetious. You're right, there are badder things on the road. I probably wouldnt look twice at a E92 M3 after seeing them on the lot collecting pollen.

Ok let's not make this thread into a heated divisive AMG vs //M topic that I've seen plagued other communities
Out of the 4, they all have different flavors, let's just leave it at that. Its like chocolate vs vanilla (not saying which is what though)

Based strickly on the fact that the C63 is an automatice I wouldn't even consider it. Playing with the padal thingy's will get boring in about 5 minutes. I need a clutch pedal and to shift my own gears.
No doubt, C63 is a fantastic car, but just shy one pedal for me.

M3 sedan starts at 70K and is already well dressed to party out of the box. So the pricing diff is only for the coupe (of which the C63 is bereft). Since I think (personal opinion) that handling and manual tranny trump everyday driveability and low-end grunt in a track-ready street car, I have always and continue to prefer the M3

sorry but i would take the c63>m3 anyday.
I have a 335i now and with some mods I can smoke an M3. The M3 is a nice car, but I prefer the raw power of the C63. I am no fan of Mercedes but I love the way the C63 looks, very aggressive and mean. Not to mention, Jeremy Clarkson called the C63 'an axe murderer with wheels' It's also more practical being a sedan (unless you get the M3 sedan) which IMHO doesnt look as nice as the M3 coupe... I just think Mantis is upset b/c the C63 will take teh M in a straight line!! Blind loyalty of any brand is the greatest disfavor a true enthusiast can do to oneself, not to mention the biggest sign of 'fanboyism' |

I'd say your just as biased as Mantis is towards the M3. Truth time, I'm biased as well. M3 wins. Half this thread is talking about how the C63 will out drag a M3. Who buys a MB or BMW to drag? Thats the most preposterous thing I've ever heard. The half that are being practical and realized no one here will be able to get the full potential out of either car are correct. Which means it basically comes down to aesthetics, interface, and atmosphere. I'll say it again, M3 wins.
