The X3 is tiny. The rear leg room is actually less than the X1, although it has more cargo area. It is significantly smaller than an X5 or Cherokee.

The new 3 is ginormous, if this is what the new x is based on it will have more rear seat legroom. It didn't seem too terrible when I was riding in one but I was in the front seat.
