Those black plastic bumpers on anything but a black car are hideous. Especially on the front end. Hope that isn't production.

The 911 has unfortunately started to look like a caricature of itself. A cheap cartoon copy. Proof that you can evolve a great design for many years but everything has a limit. The 992 looks stale, bloated, forced, and uninteresting.
I personally didn't care for the 991. Have driven several including the GTS and they just felt a bit eh...as far as 911s go. I'm pretty sure the 992 will be even more numb and flat. For me the 911 died with the 997 which was the 911 on life support after the tragedy that was the 996.

it's funny how the introduction of new models just pushes me to buy the old ones. owning a F82 pushed me to get back into an E46 this year (no shade on the F8x, really, i plan on keeping both).
now this 992 is making me start shopping for 993's with next year's bonus money. |

I like it, and I am sure the actual production cars will look even better.
The hood reminds me of the hood on G-body cars. Door handles seem interesting, too. Curious if the 992 GT3 will stay NA. |

The rear looks really bad...
I was hoping for a more slimmed down, muscular looking car. Like this: |

1) I don't usually like NC's either, but that thing is beautiful. 2) The original 2.0L has been pulled and replaced with the Mazda3 2.5L which was then cammed and putting out 200hp. 3) Car was then turbocharged, setup up conservatively with low boost and is now putting out nearly 300hp, probably over 300hp at the crank. 4) That thing is a beast. |

Still, $21k for an NC is lol to me. You can get an ND for that. Hell, you can get a decent V8 swapped Miata for that too. I have my NA insured for an agreed value. Kind of want someone to hit me so I can get a V8 swapped Miata. |

Yeah, I am an NB guy, and don't typically like the NC, but really like that one. You would be hard pressed to get a decent V8 swap for that, unless it was an old mustang swap. Any quality LS swap is gonna be in the high 30s at a minimum, for an NC, in the 40-50 range, probably. |

The A, B & C pillars are identical to a 991. Looks like this 992 is an extensively facelifted 991 with a new interior rather than a complete redesign. 991 owners are going to be pleased that their cars aren't going to look outdated. If anything, the 991 looks sleeker and sexier than this.

I love the new exhaust treatment. I hate the current PSE setup with its dual centered outlets.
