Why would you need a watch that is good to depths of 4000 m? or even 1000m ? What are you going to do, dive that deep? I would like to see what your head would look like at 4000m?hahahhahah...nice looking though!

Hey everyone,
I got a new toy! This is the Sinn 856 UTC (Dual time zone). Sinn is a small German manufacturer specializing in Pilot-style watches. Automatic movement (ETA-based). The finish is so stealthy... looks like titanium but it uses the hardened "Tegiment" technology that hardens the stainless steel to 1,200 Vickers ~ about 4 times harder than regular stainless steel. Pretty excited about this one as this will be my new daily wearer.

NICE!!! Hublot. Is that an ETA, Valjoux or Zenith movement? Hublot is slated to have a pretty big display at next week's Basel... Crious to see what new timepieces they'll be presenting. Are you active on the Timezone boards??

Here's the anniversary model that I bought but didn't keep all that long...I wear a suit daily, and the green just didn't work for me with a suit. Great watch though: If I were forced to wear only one watch though, I'd be hard pressed to choose any other watch but this one: |

I'm very blessed, and very thankful to God for his blessings. I run a division of a design engineering firm by day, but do freelance writing and photography to afford my "watch habit." |

A well loaded e90 can run near 50k, and it's a depreciating asset. But my Rolexes increase in value each and every year. Which is the waste of money here?? Now, if I were truly smart, I'd dump the car, AND the watches, buy a Civic and put the rest of the money on interest....but where's the fun in that? |

Ahh...I hear the "I don't like watches" more from the younger folks (I'm 35 so I'm not that old). I was always brought up to wear a good watch, good shoes, etc. Of course, my father was a watch dealer, so he got me hooked early on... |
