Just noticed the high beam matrix led masking anti dazzle continues to be decoded for the US as with the G01. However, no way to code back with the cloud based iDrive.

Isn't this due to US regulatory restrictions though...?

It is, but people regularly code it back in at home, which isn't possible anymore.

Nice spec and look forward to hearing the driving review.
+1. Customers get good looking wheels from the factory, that one then needs to get really close to see them for what they are. 🤷

I sure hope there's one more X3 M with the S58. It's a pretty superb machine. But I may be a tad biased...

Get the M2C. Pretty sure the S58 is kind of wasted on the X3. I'd love to trade my Supra in for a M4C but I still can't get over the ugly grill...

Historically yes, but have things changed recently as other manufactures now offer this in the US ?

As mentioned by another poster, it has been possible to recode this back on the G01 in the US, but this can’t be done after iD7.

The Adaptive Beams (Anti-Dazzle) were approved over two years ago however rather than following existing ECE or SAE specs the NHTSA created some new ones. Currently BMW has no headlights that have been certified to meet the new requirements.
