I'm not so sure that bad boy is VTEC... that might be a Civic DX "M3" which had around 105 bhp... maybe a bit more?

I note that he only claims it has "V tech"...

Glad someone else caught that.

I don't know why all these people, on car forums, You-Tube, the internet and life in general, always mis-spell VTEC.

Maybe it's those cordless VTECH phones?

In the older civic's. The 1996-2000 generation the only cars with VTEC were the EX, HX, and Si. LX, DX, CX just had non Vtec sohc

Very true. It's so sad that such a shitty movie would leave such a lasting impression on society.

He's probably young, couldn't afford a BMW. He did an excellent job on the car. I wouldn't want it, but he did an excellent job. Why would you guys want to tear him down? Make you feel better?

Because of the sickening waste of time, effort, and money. For god sakes, he should be using these resources for college, or at least a tech college. Then he might actually be able to put his talent to good use.

Oh, and the car is hideous.

He did a great job. But he should have put his skills to doing something more tasteful or at least somewhat less hideous and poseurish.

If he didn't try and make it look like a BMW we might just be judging him on the quality of his workmanship, but when it's clear that his effort was to emulate a Laguna Seca BMW, it's fair game to judge his intent since it was all about a brand.

If he would just use the money and effort to make it a modified Honda, and not a BMW he would probably be driving the sickest honda around, but trying to make it a BMW M3, FAIL
