most people w/ level 1 HSV usually only get outbreak once or twice a year. more if you live a stressful life. Like others have said, there are meds out there for it

Lysine to fight from the inside, Tums to reduce the acid content on the lesions outside. Then clean twice a day and use something to keep your lips moist.

Stress is definately a contributor to break-outs.

Update:

Went to my doctor today and he said because my cold sore is so mild, it's most likely not something I should be losing sleep over. Getting a blood test done is essentially useless at this point because it takes months for antibodies to built up, until then they would be able to test whether I have the virus or not. He prescribed me some antiviral medication for future potential breakouts, but chances of using the medication in the future are pretty slim. Ultimately I over worried for nothing hahah, but I will be getting blood test done 3 months from now because I just want to be sure (never had a coldsore in my life). I want to thank you all for contributing to this thread, especially Jaykay!

Oh yeah, will post pics of e36 m3 if anyone is still interested, it's pretty much stock now though because it's my dd. I also had to raise it up a bit (socal roads suck).
