Sounds expensive...GL with everything.

Ouch frame damage, a lot of things can go wrong internally with these cars on impact. I think it might be a write off at the end of the day, a buckled roof is not a good sign. On top of that, the front subframe and suspension assembly would've been destroyed.

Well, if its a lease you have to start all over again. I hope you didn't put down much on the lease.

I agree with others, if you want to push the car, do it in a controlled environment off public streets. Mistakes are cheaper (and safer) there.

your insurance is going to not be friendly, even moreso than if its repaired. although in this case, its not going to be a happy ending on that front in either case.

live and learn, unfortunately this one is going to be a $$$ one. on the bright side no one got hurt.

I'm not saying it as an excuse, but simply the likely reason why it was as bad as it was. Given the extent of his slide I suspect even without the change in road material he would have at least ended up hitting the curb.

damn man, glad to hear u and ur passenger are ok. it's never a good thing to do crazy stunts like that, but if u are going to be doing some spirited driving - do it alone. better power to weight ratio!

I don't see any buckling. The seams between body parts still seem aligned. Probably not too badly bent, except maybe some suspension parts. $9K is my guess.

That'll buff right out.

Also, I second the:

How old are you?

You're lucky you didn't hit a pedestrian as it looks like you were in a residential area.

I'm glad nobody was hurt and everyone walked away from this. I hope everything works out for you.

You really have to learn your car before taking crazy turns. I'm still getting use to it.

Took a simple and slow left turn from a stop sign Saturday, the rear immediately began sliding out (wasn't even going 5 miles an hour). Oh yea, it had been raining all day. Just let off and all was well. Asphalt is the devil.

I really do think the RFT's are less helpful in the rain though.

I'm pretty sure it isn't a 335. Bottom mesh is black and those are 328 wheels.
