Tofu does take some getting used to. And like I've said before, I don't usually like tofu from restaurants. Same issue. The texture isn't right. But at least you gave it a couple of tries. I won't touch calamari or octopus or oysters because just the sight of them gives me the willies. So I don't even get credit for trying them.

Did a chicken and shrimp pasta with pancetta in a white wine butter sauce. Also did a Caeser salad, but didn’t have room in the belly. Mrs H enjoyed the salad before the main was ready.

Got some Costco haddock fillets cooking in the Ninja and a good time to peel some King Edward spuds to put on the hob to be ready in time when the fish is done as well as some steamed veg for a change.
