Congrats man, nothing better than land. I've only got 3 acres where I live, but it's surrounded on 3 sides by farms, so I am safe from neighbors. Have to use bino's to see my nearest neighbor - and you have to be in the front yard to do that. I spend weekends on the family farm (1/2 mil square) and the peacefulness calls to me. Plan to live there some day if all goes well.

Added two more Sonos speakers to the network. One for the backyard and garage (BMW sticker tells them apart). The wireless charging is wonderful and the sound punches above its weight and size for sure.

Yep (the rug). A little thin, but it was inexpensive and I like it more than I thought I would. We aren’t here much so it should hold up ok for at least a few years.

Canadian or not, it's irrelevant as salaries are similar before you apply exchange.

I just put in half a tank (I use about half a tank month, if that) at $1.65 litre for premium. 1.65 X 3.8 is what $6.27 gallon.
