I will quote myself to re-emphasize this. Buying the 60s was a good decision and I'm sticking with my $90 thesis.

If I'm able to turn a profit on SLV I'm going to buy an M3. My goal is to make money day trading and to pay off an M3 with cash. I've made a total of $12k since I started in January but it could've been higher if I had not bought slv. I have almost all my money in investments with Vanguard though and I'm happy with them. Averaging 17% annual interest which is more than any bank can offer! This day trading business is pretty demanding considering I'm running a full time business; maybe that's why I'm losing money, because I'm not doing my research. But it would be my luck to get into SLV and immediately have it tank after months of straight gains. lol:

12k since Jan can be great or decent depending on how much you invested

On about $80k. So pretty good return. I did it all with SIRI, NFLX, AAPL, and a few others. But my biggest losses came with CSCO, getting much better recently (might even buy some June calls, and SLV is giving me a shellacking.

I hope the financial news are bad tomorrow. It sounds terrible but eh. I need SLV to go up but then my other investments would go down...

well you bought shares instead of options, so you aren't in too much danger. You'd probably be pulling your hair out right now if you bought calls. Get drunk tonight and go to bed if this being in the negative is going to bother you.

It looks like SLV rebounded a little in aftermarket trading. It closed at $44.03 today, but the current price is $44.96.

Anyone have any insight on GM? I read that they're starting to turn things around and their chart looks like they've hit a bottom and are starting to climb. I've started scaling into GM and will continue as long as the price keeps moving up.

I like GM down here. I liked it more at $29, but I think $40 this year is not out of the question. GM is making better cars, but high oil prices are pressuring the auto industry.

I don't think Bernanke is going to say anything surprising tomorrow. I think rates will stay low.

Very true

Even if you want the current market price, put that market price in as the limit.

Be patient with SLV. It should do well unless the shi* hits the fans for some unknown reason.

Anyone here see the APMEX news of buying Silver $3 over spot because they were out of Silver.

CSCO fell 2.3% today. I'm hoping SLV to hit $47 soon so I can sell it and buy more CSCO.

Holy crap. It's seriously taken off in the last 10 minutes. I'm just seeing the SLV ticker jump higher and higher every few seconds.

Making triple digit % gains on REDF calls, this thing is exploding...
