We loved our visit to Barcelona last year. Your view from the park catches one part of the vibe.

Lovely landscapes and clouds guys !
As 2016 draws to a close I thought you might like a colourful image and an 'Aurora Curtain' seemed appropriate. This one is from last year but I never processed it and can't remember why, it must be an age thing ! Anyway looking through my aurora shots yesterday for another project, I had another look at this and loved the range of colours in it. Taken only about a mile from home, this one has the camera pointing north west across The Moray Firth towards Cromarty and The Black Isle. Hope you enjoy it, Happy New Year Aurora Curtain by Alan Butterfield, on Flickr

Beautiful harrier portrait, Ed. Do you think that's a juvenile male?

Last trip in went on was to Barbados and after much deliberation, decided to not take my camera gear. I did take plenty of phone pics....
This is one of my favorites. The guy was fishing through a blow hole!

Given the grey in the feathers, I think he'll be a Grey Ghost.

Lot's of people don't want to take this on, but I take my best camera and put together a vanity book for each major trip. My wife loves it, as do all my travel companions. Strangely, no one else takes ANY pictures, they just say, "I'll wait on the book." I find it relaxing and increases my enjoyment of the places that we visit. I know that others don't have that positive vibe, but it's worth a try, I think.
